The Handy Skiff is a traditional rowing boat built here in our fiberglass shop at Handy Boat by our craftsmen in Falmouth Maine. It’s lightweight appeal classifies it as a car topper so no trailer is needed. If rowing is not your style the boat can accommodate a small outboard motor. With its graceful lines, three person capacity, solid fiberglass construction, Coast Guard approved flotation; this is a boat you can feel proud to own and give you many good service of years. Colored versions available upon request for an additional fee A sailing version can also be manufactured for custom orders. Kit versions are a possibility.

The Handy Bracket is manufactured exclusively by Handy Boat in Falmouth for auxiliary outboards. Nowhere can you find a better looking, simpler solution for your outboard mounting problem. Forget the dangerous spring loaded brackets or the shock absorber brackets that can cost over twice as much. Sheer transom angles, which make the “U” brackets impossible, are a thing of the past. Using the Handy Bracket makes it very easy to remove your outboard for sailing performance as well as removing the bracket itself so you have no unsightly hanging hardware to interfere with classic lines. This Handy Cat sailboat has a fiberglass hull and an LOA of 14 feet (length over all). The boat has a 68 inch beam. This sailboat is set up to sail as a Cat. The craft has 141 square feet of sail area. Displacement for the boat is 750 lbs. The draft of this sailboat is approximately 4'6". (For those brand new to sailing, draft is important to remember since you can run aground if you venture into waters which are too shallow.)
